Meet Dr. Hughes
Integrative Dentist in West Hills
Dr. Hughes was born and raised in Visalia, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Merced, where he conducted three years of research in the Nobile Lab, studying oral microbial life.
Dr. Hughes graduated Summa Cum Laude from the USC School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time at USC, Dr. Hughes worked with the Dr. STAT anesthesia team, gaining valuable experience treating complex cases. For his dedication, he was awarded the Horace Wells Award by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Additionally, he was nominated to become a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Hughes is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Hughes is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of compassion, respect, and understanding. He offers the latest techniques in modern and implant dentistry, and continually advances his practice by taking courses in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Hughes strives to help his patients understand the important connection between oral health and overall well-being.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hughes enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and oil painting. He is also a volunteer for Global Dental Relief, traveling abroad to treat underserved communities worldwide.
